Edinburgh Corn Exchange spans six versatile event spaces across multiple floors, giving us the flexibility to host everything from intimate 30-person board meetings to celebrations of 1,500 guests. Our home on New Market Road has been a Edinburgh landmark since its life as the city's agricultural trading hub, and we've preserved the original architectural features that give each room its own distinct character.
The main hall holds up to 3,000 standing guests for concerts and festivals, while our smaller spaces are equally well-suited to corporate conferences, wedding receptions, and private celebrations. As a Grade B listed building, expect soaring ceilings, period detailing, and generous natural light pouring through original windows — details our delegates consistently remark upon. With each space having its own dedicated entrance, multiple events can run simultaneously without any overlap.
We've also built in a few touches that set us apart. A ten-pin bowling centre sits downstairs — a popular post-dinner destination for wedding parties — alongside mini football pitches that conference groups regularly book for team activities, and a sports bar that comes into its own during evening events. Our address at 11 New Market Road, EH14 1RJ places us a short walk from Slateford train station, with complimentary parking available for all guests.
