Our Victorian building wears its contemporary updates well. We've kept the original architectural details while weaving in modern touches throughout our 111 rooms and suites. Each one takes inspiration from botany, music, geometry, ornithology, or astronomy - complete with bespoke furnishings, LCD TVs, media hubs, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Your event guests often comment on these unique design elements when they arrive. For meetings and parties alike, we adapt our spaces to match what you're planning. The Wine Room works beautifully for board meetings and private dinners, while The Library creates an intimate setting for presentations or cocktail receptions. Need something more relaxed? The Games Room brings energy to corporate team events or birthday celebrations. Our events team handles the logistics - from setting up your conference technology to arranging drinks receptions and private dining menus. Between meetings, your guests can explore our Mediterranean-inspired restaurant Apero, housed in the former wine cellars, or experience afternoon tea in The Drawing Rooms (the Science-themed version with planet-shaped pastries is particularly popular).
