Step through the doors of The Cavendish Arms on Hartington Road and you'll understand why we're Stockwell's favorite arts pub. Our main bar feels like stepping into someone's eccentric living room - retro sofas scattered around, walls covered in cat pictures, and paintwork that makes you smile. The 'Cav Playlist' sets the mood while guests dig into our famous Disco Fries, just five minutes' walk from Stockwell tube station. Our ballroom channels vintage speakeasy energy, where comedy takes over Monday through Wednesday nights and live bands fill most Friday and Saturday evenings. The space transforms beautifully for private parties, band rehearsals, photo shoots, and video shoots - we've seen everything from birthday celebrations to full production crews making magic here. Out back, our beer garden is its own adventure. We've built cozy sheds with comfortable seating around gold tables, hung glitter balls from the trees, and yes, there's a Crazy Golf course weaving between fairy lights and those nodding dogs you'll spot everywhere. The whole outdoor space becomes this whimsical playground that somehow works perfectly for both casual drinks and proper parties. Dogs aren't just welcome - they're part of the family here. Bring your four-legged friend anywhere in the venue, even to comedy shows. We serve 'Dogtails' in special doghead mugs and keep a dedicated doggy menu alongside our homemade pizzas. Behind the bar, you'll find draught ales, craft beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails to suit any taste. Our intimate theatre space adds another dimension for events. The vintage charm and flexible layout mean we can accommodate everything from acoustic sets to full theatrical productions.
