The marble staircase catches everyone's attention when they first step through our doors at The Merchants House of Glasgow. We're right across from Queen Street Railway Station, making it simple for your meeting attendees to find us without the usual Glasgow navigation challenges. Our Grade A listed building dates back to the Victorian era, and we've worked hard to preserve the original features while adding everything modern meetings need. The stained-glass windows cast beautiful light across our meeting spaces during morning sessions, and our AV equipment handles everything from simple presentations to complex video conferences. We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the building, so remote participants can join seamlessly. We have three main spaces that work brilliantly for different meeting sizes. The Grand Hall suits larger conferences, while the Directors Room creates a more focused atmosphere for board meetings. The Lord Dean's Room works perfectly for smaller training sessions or breakout discussions. We're flexible with opening hours too, so early morning briefings or evening presentations aren't a problem. The building sits on the first floor with wheelchair access available, though some guests have mentioned it can be a bit tight in places - something we're always upfront about when discussing accessibility needs. Fantastic venue in a great location in Central Glasgow. Staff were excellent in directing attendees and assisting with set up - would highly recommend using and will be doing so in future!

Access was there for W/C but with a squeeze as on 1st floor. Easier access for W/C user would have made a massive difference
