Our Private Dining Room, the Temperance Room, sits behind elegant glass doors where Victorian charm meets modern comfort. The centrepiece is our striking oval dining table crafted from rich dark wood, surrounded by leather chairs that encourage long, relaxed conversations over dinner. We can accommodate 10 to 14 guests comfortably in this intimate space, perfect for those special gatherings where you want privacy without feeling cut off from the restaurant's energy. Warm wood panelling wraps the walls, punctuated by vintage artwork and classic wall sconces that cast a gentle glow across the table. The glass doors maintain that sense of occasion whilst allowing glimpses of the bustling main restaurant beyond. It's a room that respects the building's courthouse heritage whilst creating its own story through carefully chosen details and thoughtful lighting. Our venue sits right on Deansgate in the heart of Manchester, making it wonderfully convenient for guests arriving from across the city. The transport links couldn't be better, with multiple options nearby for those joining you from further afield. For your private dining experience, we've created special sharing menus that showcase our grass-fed native beef and sustainably caught seafood.
