The Soho Sky Terrace sprawls across the top of the Courthouse Hotel, where former magistrates' chambers give way to one of Soho's most compelling rooftop spaces. Up here, 80 of your guests can gather for drinks with the London skyline stretching out before them, the city's energy palpable yet somehow distant enough to feel exclusive. We've arranged the terrace with clusters of wooden furniture and deep-cushioned seating that encourage people to settle in properly, not just perch with a drink. The central bar anchors the space, our bartenders keeping the cocktails, wines and beers flowing as smoothly as the conversations. Between the seating areas, planters overflow with greenery, softening the urban edges and creating natural boundaries between groups. The views really are the thing though. From up here you can watch Soho unfold below while catching glimpses of London's landmarks in the distance. When the sun sets, the whole terrace takes on a different character, the city lights creating their own theatre. We've installed roll-out canopies that deploy when needed, so a bit of London weather won't derail your plans. The space stays comfortable right through to our 11pm licence. For seated dinners, we can accommodate 60 guests banquet-style, though most clients prefer the freedom of a standing reception. Add a DJ or live music to the mix and the atmosphere shifts again, the acoustics working surprisingly well in the open air. Just a few minutes' walk from Oxford Circus Station, your guests can slip away from the Soho streets and find themselves in this unexpected oasis, where the building's legal past feels wonderfully distant and the present moment is all that matters.
