The Ground Floor at Coin Laundry brings Exmouth Market's energy right to your party. We've kept the original exposed brick and wooden floors that give the space its character, while our large street-facing windows mean your guests arrive to a room filled with natural light during daytime celebrations, or the warm glow of our professional lighting system come evening. Our open kitchen becomes part of the entertainment, with chefs preparing those famous Chicken Kievs and other 70s-inspired dishes right where your guests can see the action. We configure the space to work for you, whether that's 80 guests seated around tables for a birthday dinner or 150 standing with cocktails for a more fluid celebration. The dedicated bar runs the length of one wall, stocked with our selection of natural wines, craft beers and house cocktails that nod to the decade of disco. We've installed a sound system that handles everything from background music during dinner to proper party volumes later on. Our late licence runs until 2am Thursday through Saturday, giving you plenty of time to move from dinner into dancing. The bar team knows how to keep drinks flowing without guests waiting, and our waiting staff have worked enough parties here to anticipate what you need before you ask. The flexible layout means we can create distinct areas within the space, perhaps a dining zone that transforms into a dancefloor, or cocktail tables scattered throughout for more informal gatherings. Angel station sits just minutes away, making arrivals straightforward for your guests. Our Ground Floor works particularly well for celebrations where you want that buzz of being part of Clerkenwell's nightlife while having your own private party space.
