At The Gun's Main Dining Room, your event unfolds in a space where 250 years of naval history meets contemporary celebration. This elegant room wraps around a commanding U-shaped table that seats up to 70 guests comfortably, though we can reconfigure the space for 100 standing if you're planning something more social and flowing. Natural light pours through the large windows running along one wall, illuminating the dark wood paneling and maritime artifacts that give the room its distinctive character. We've kept the original features that make this space special, from the vintage naval pieces to the carefully curated artwork that tells the story of our dockside heritage. When evening comes, our chandeliers and wall sconces create that perfect warm glow for dinner parties and receptions. The private bar tucked into the corner means your guests never have to leave the room for refills, and our team keeps everything flowing smoothly throughout your event. We've equipped the space with all the modern touches you need, including Wi-Fi and audio-visual equipment, while maintaining the historic charm that makes celebrations here feel special. For formal dinners, the U-shaped configuration works brilliantly, creating an inclusive atmosphere where everyone can engage in conversation. Wedding receptions take on an intimate feel here, with the room's warm tones and soft lighting setting the perfect mood. Business dinners benefit from the privacy and professional atmosphere, while birthday parties and special celebrations come alive in this versatile space. You'll find us at 27 Coldharbour, just a short walk from Blackwall DLR station and about 10 minutes from Canary Wharf. The Main Dining Room is fully accessible, air-conditioned, and ready to adapt to whatever kind of gathering you have in mind.
