The Glass Courtyard opens this March 2025, bringing a completely new dimension to Chapel House Estate's party spaces. We've created something rather special here, where oak beams frame walls of glass that stretch from floor to ceiling, topped by a retractable glass roof that lets you dance under the stars or shelter from April showers. Picture your celebration unfolding in this light-filled pavilion, where 100 of your guests can mingle with drinks in hand, or 70 can sit down to dinner surrounded by views of our Kentish gardens. The bi-fold doors fold back completely, so your party flows naturally between the courtyard and our landscaped grounds. We've watched the space transform through the seasons during construction, and we know how magical it feels when evening falls and the string lights come on, reflecting off all that glass while your guests chat over cocktails. Our kitchen team works closely with local Kent suppliers to create menus that match your party vision, whether that's canapés and champagne or a full seated feast. We offer vegan and gluten-free options too, because we want everyone at your celebration to eat brilliantly. The professional PA system handles everything from background music to party playlists, while air conditioning keeps things comfortable even when the dance floor gets busy. The courtyard sits within our 35-acre estate, just five minutes from Thanet Parkway station, making it simple for London guests to join your celebration.
