The Stuart room brings together everything we love about hosting intimate gatherings at our Surrey hotel. Rich wooden paneling wraps around the space, while stained-glass windows cast warm patterns across the long dining table that seats up to 32 guests. We've found this combination creates exactly the right atmosphere for both formal dinners and focused board meetings. What really sets this room apart is the loggia opening directly onto our Lily Pond Terrace. During warmer months, guests naturally drift between the formal dining space and the terrace, cocktails in hand, while the lily ponds provide a peaceful backdrop. The classic fireplace anchors the room, and we've carefully maintained all the original features that give the space its character. For larger gatherings, we can open the sound-proofed partition to connect with our adjacent Carolean room, creating what we call The Library. This flexibility means your celebration of 50 can flow seamlessly between spaces, or you can keep things intimate with just your closest colleagues or family members around the dining table. Our kitchen team works closely with each host to craft menus that complement your occasion. Whether you're planning a milestone birthday dinner, hosting key clients, or gathering your team for strategic planning over a working lunch, we adjust our service style accordingly. The fine china and glassware are already in place, and our staff know exactly when to be present and when to fade into the background. You'll find us tucked away in the Surrey countryside, yet surprisingly accessible via the A30 and M3. There's plenty of free parking, and for those staying overnight, our rooms offer a comfortable retreat after your event. The Main House location means you're at the heart of everything, with our grounds providing endless photo opportunities between courses.
