The Showroom crowns the Old Sessions House with its own piece of history, a rooftop retreat where the original courthouse character meets contemporary event possibilities. Up here, we've kept the beautifully distressed walls and original wooden floors that have witnessed decades of Clerkenwell life, while adding the tech and flexibility modern events demand. Natural light floods the space through oversized windows and that spectacular skylight overhead, where a grand chandelier catches the afternoon sun. The classic white fireplace anchors one end of the room, creating a natural focal point whether you're hosting 40 for a seated dinner or welcoming 60 guests for drinks and canapés. We've seen this space transform from morning product launches to evening celebrations, each event taking on the room's inherent character. The bones of the space tell their own story, those weathered walls and timber floors providing texture you simply can't manufacture. For dining events, we arrange tables beneath the chandelier's glow, candles reflecting off the windows as darkness falls over Clerkenwell. Corporate presentations work brilliantly here too, with our projector, flatscreen TV and PA system handling everything from pitch decks to party playlists. The acoustics, refined by centuries of use, mean speakers don't struggle to be heard, even during livelier receptions. Our kitchen team brings the same adaptability as the space itself, crafting menus that suit your event's mood. The alcohol licence runs until 9pm, perfect for those early evening gatherings that don't need to stretch into the night. Being just moments from Farringdon Station (with its Elizabeth, Metropolitan, and mainline connections), your guests can reach us easily from anywhere in London. We've hosted everything here, from startup showcases to intimate wedding dinners, each event finding its own rhythm in this characterful rooftop space.
