The Lounge transforms from morning meetings to evening celebrations with remarkable ease, and we've watched countless groups make the most of this versatile space. During the day, our built-in projector and sound system support presentations for up to 120 delegates theatre-style, while the warm wooden tables and comfortable seating create an atmosphere that keeps everyone engaged. Come evening, those same tables clear away to reveal our elegant parquet flooring, and suddenly you've got room for 200 guests at a standing reception. Our fully-stocked bar becomes the natural focal point when the sun goes down, its ambient lighting casting a welcoming glow across the room. We've hosted everything from corporate cocktail parties to birthday celebrations here, and the flexible layout means we can configure the space exactly as you need it. For more intimate gatherings, we arrange cabaret-style seating for 80, perfect for dinner dances where guests want to chat between courses. The U-shaped setup works brilliantly for training sessions with 24 participants, while boardroom style accommodates 32 for focused discussions. Recent guests particularly praised how the space adapts throughout their events, though we should mention that theatre staff occasionally pass through during daytime bookings as they go about their work. The room's modern refurbishment shines through in every detail, from the quality sound system that handles both presentations and party playlists, to the lighting that shifts from bright and professional to atmospheric as your event evolves. The space is really impressive (The Lounge) and worked for what we needed. However, the theatre staff walking through the space during our meeting wasn't ideal. Make sure you head for Stage Door when you get there, as nothing is signposted!
