The original oak beams that crown our 17th Century Country House have presided over countless love stories, their weathered surface catching candlelight just as they did when this manor first opened its doors. We've hosted everything from intimate gatherings of 50 to grand celebrations filling all 150 seats, each wedding bringing its own magic to these historic walls. Step inside and you'll find soaring ceilings create an atmosphere of grandeur, while tall windows frame views across our 20-acre parkland. The room transforms beautifully throughout the day - morning ceremonies benefit from soft natural light streaming through those windows, while evening receptions glow under our classic chandeliers. Our couples often pause by the original stone fireplace for photographs, its carved mantelpiece providing a stunning focal point that anchors the entire space. We work closely with each couple to bring their vision to life. Some prefer traditional elegance with ivory linens and cascading floral arrangements, while others embrace seasonal themes - we've draped the beams with twinkling fairy lights for winter weddings and adorned tables with wildflower meadows for summer celebrations. The flexibility of the space means ceremony chairs can be swiftly rearranged for dining, keeping your guests comfortable in one beautiful location.
