We've transformed a bright corner of our 15th-century manor into something rather special. The Conservatory catches everyone by surprise when they first walk in, with sunlight streaming through the glass ceiling and windows that frame our riverside gardens. It's where we host everything from milestone birthday parties to corporate award ceremonies, and the space adapts beautifully to each occasion. The wooden floors and wicker seating create a relaxed atmosphere that puts guests at ease, while the high ceilings give even large gatherings room to breathe. We can arrange tables for 120 guests for a sit-down dinner, or clear the floor for up to 200 people at a cocktail reception. For more intimate celebrations, the space works wonderfully for groups of 50 in a boardroom configuration, and we've seen some fantastic exhibitions take advantage of all that natural light. Being on the first floor means you get views across our 30-acre grounds, and the double doors connecting to both the Little Barn and River Room give you options for expanding your party or creating separate spaces for different parts of your event. Our in-house catering team knows this room inside out, from where to position the bar for best flow to which menu items work particularly well in this setting. With our alcohol licence running until midnight, celebrations can continue well into the evening. The practical details matter too. We've installed air conditioning for those summer parties, reliable WiFi throughout, and a projector for presentations or photo slideshows. Getting here is straightforward, with free parking for all your guests and good links to Oxford city centre.
