Pushing through the heavy wooden doors of the Old Bengal Bar feels like discovering a secret corner of the City that time forgot. This atmospheric bar occupies part of our 18th-century warehouse on New Street, where the original exposed brickwork and timber beams create an immediate sense of history and character. The long, dramatic space draws you in with its series of circular chandeliers casting pools of warm light across polished wood floors and leather banquettes. We've kept the industrial bones of the building visible, letting the brick walls and historic architecture speak for themselves while adding contemporary touches that make the space work beautifully for modern celebrations. The bar runs along one side, backed by bottles that catch the light, while groups naturally gather around the sleek tables and comfortable seating areas scattered throughout. Our bartenders craft cocktails that go well beyond the expected, working with premium spirits and fresh ingredients to create drinks worth talking about. The bar bites menu features substantial dishes designed to keep energy levels high throughout your event, from sharing platters to more refined options that complement our cocktail selection. When our resident DJ takes their position, the whole atmosphere shifts up a gear, transforming the space into one of the City's most distinctive party venues. The room comfortably hosts standing receptions for up to 150 guests, though we can arrange different configurations depending on your needs.
