Our Subterranean Terrace exists in its own world beneath the streets of Bloomsbury, just moments from Tottenham Court Road Station. We've created this outdoor grotto as an escape from the everyday, where up to 40 guests can gather under strings of fairy lights that transform the space into something quite extraordinary after dark. The terrace layout works brilliantly for cocktail receptions and celebrations. We've arranged leather booths and intimate alcoves throughout the space, each offering a different perspective of the monochromatic tiled floors and surrounding greenery. Our chandeliers hang at just the right height to create pools of warm light, while the heated lamps mean your guests stay comfortable whatever the season. What makes parties here particularly memorable is how we've woven our Egyptian-inspired cocktail concept into the experience. We bring out our custom-designed pyramid and pendulum, letting your guests discover their destined drink through ancient hieroglyphic meanings. It's become the perfect icebreaker, watching groups gather round as the pendulum swings, determining whether they'll be sipping a cocktail inspired by rebirth, wisdom, or protection. The space comes alive differently throughout the evening. Early on, guests tend to explore every corner, drinks in hand, discovering the various seating areas we've tucked away. As the night progresses, the leather booths become gathering spots for animated conversations, while others spill out into the central areas where our quality audio system provides the soundtrack to your celebration. We've thought through the practical elements too. The terrace connects seamlessly to our main bar area, making service smooth throughout your event. Wi-Fi reaches every corner, air conditioning keeps the covered areas comfortable, and we've ensured full accessibility throughout. For corporate gatherings, press launches, or birthday celebrations, this hidden outdoor space offers something genuinely different in central London.
