Picture yourself ascending a black marble staircase to find the Barnard Room, where gilt carvings catch the afternoon light streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows. This Georgian masterpiece overlooks The Mall, giving your guests something rather more interesting to gaze at than the usual London office blocks. The unfinished Trompe l'oeil ceiling above you tells its own story, a deliberate artistic choice that adds character without overwhelming the space. We've hosted everything from milestone birthday parties to product launches here, with up to 80 guests mingling beneath those ornate chandeliers, cocktails in hand. For seated dinners, we comfortably fit 50 around beautifully dressed tables, while theatre-style presentations work brilliantly for 72. Those twelve-foot ceilings create an atmosphere that photographs beautifully, especially when the room fills with laughter during evening receptions. The PA system handles speeches without any fuss, and yes, we're licensed until midnight, so your celebration can continue properly. Our kitchen team crafts menus from canapés to multi-course feasts, adapting to whatever your event demands. The Barnard Room connects seamlessly with our Radhakrishnan and Council Rooms when you need additional space for pre-dinner drinks or a quieter area for conversations. Many clients use this flexibility to create different moods throughout their event. Piccadilly Circus and Charing Cross stations put you right in central London, yet once inside, the city's rush feels wonderfully distant.
