Walking into our Ballroom, the first thing that strikes you is the sweep of natural light flooding through the Victorian windows, each one framing views across 700 acres of parkland. At 57 feet long and 25 feet wide, with soaring 16-foot ceilings, this is one of our most impressive spaces, where up to 200 guests can gather for celebrations that feel both grand and intimate. The rich blue carpeting runs throughout the room, complemented by our signature drapery in deep blue and gold that catches the daylight beautifully. We've found these warm tones work particularly well for wedding receptions, where the soft wall colours create the perfect backdrop for photography. The fully air-conditioned space keeps everyone comfortable even during summer celebrations, while our private bar facility means your guests never have to venture far for refreshments. What really sets our Ballroom apart is the large patio area that opens directly onto the parkland. We've hosted countless drinks receptions here, where guests spill out onto the terrace as the sun sets over the grounds. For corporate events, this outdoor space provides a natural break-out area between sessions, though the room works equally well configured for boardroom meetings (65 people), classroom training (80), or U-shaped discussions (55). Just four miles from Nottingham city centre, we're easy to reach yet feel wonderfully removed from the bustle. The space transforms beautifully from morning conferences to evening banquets, where we can seat 140 guests comfortably. Our events team has worked with everything from product launches to golden anniversary parties here, and we know exactly how to make the most of those Victorian architectural features while ensuring all the modern technical requirements are met.
