Standing beneath Gothic arches that reach towards painted ceilings, you'll find The Nave transforms ordinary gatherings into extraordinary occasions. This 19th-century neo-Gothic space at Grand Junction Paddington brings together architectural splendour with the practical needs of modern celebrations. Natural light pours through intricate stained-glass windows, casting coloured patterns across stone floors where up to 400 guests can mingle during standing receptions. For seated dinners, we comfortably accommodate 230 guests amongst the ornate Gothic arches and detailed stonework that tell stories of Victorian craftsmanship. The soaring vaulted ceilings create an atmosphere that photographs beautifully, while the vast open floor plan adapts effortlessly to your vision, whether planning an elegant wedding breakfast or corporate celebration. We've carefully preserved every historical detail while installing the technology your event demands. Our PA system fills the space with crystal-clear sound, the projector displays presentations against this dramatic backdrop, and reliable Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected. The venue sits just moments from Royal Oak Station in Paddington, with step-free access throughout and lift facilities ensuring all your guests can enjoy this spectacular space. Our in-house catering team creates menus to match the grandeur of the surroundings, with halal, vegan and gluten-free options readily available. The alcohol licence extends until 11:00 PM, giving you flexibility for evening celebrations. From the moment guests enter through our historic doors, they're transported to a space where Victorian grandeur meets contemporary comfort. The Nave suits grand wedding receptions, milestone birthday parties, charity galas and corporate celebrations that deserve more than a standard hotel ballroom. Each event benefits from this unique combination of architectural drama, practical amenities and flexible layouts that adapt to your specific requirements.
