Welcome to Hunter Valley at Vagabond Paddington, where our interactive wine machines become the centrepiece of your celebration. This semi-private space puts you right alongside the Grand Union Canal, with floor-to-ceiling windows bringing water views and natural light into every corner of your event. We've designed Hunter Valley around discovery, with our signature by-the-glass wine machines giving your guests freedom to explore boutique wines at their own pace. The room comfortably hosts 75 for standing receptions or 40 seated around our high tables, with industrial-style stools that encourage mingling. Your proximity to our main bar means craft beers from our self-pour wall and cocktails flow as freely as conversation. Corporate gatherings work brilliantly here, from team socials where colleagues bond over wine exploration to networking events that benefit from our relaxed, interactive setup. Birthday parties take on a different energy when guests can pour their own drinks and compare tasting notes. Wine enthusiasts particularly love hosting their celebrations here, using our machines to guide friends through different regions and varieties. Our kitchen serves sharing plates throughout your event, while the canal-side location creates a backdrop that shifts beautifully from daylight to evening. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with both Paddington and Warwick Avenue stations just a short walk away. We provide everything practical you might need, from our sound system for speeches or background music to full accessibility throughout the space. The flexible layout means we can adapt Hunter Valley to suit your specific plans, whether that's an informal drinks reception or a more structured tasting event with our wine experts guiding your group through selected bottles.
