At The Ministry, our Bar & Garden transforms from daytime workspace to weekend party venue with remarkable ease. The concrete bar counter stretches along one wall, its copper-toned base catching the light from our original industrial windows, while behind it, shelves showcase an extensive collection of spirits and wines that fuel everything from craft cocktails to champagne toasts. We've kept the Victorian printworks' best features, those soaring ceilings and exposed ductwork that give the space its authentic character, then softened the edges with deep blue velvet sofas and leather armchairs where your guests can sink in between dancing. The wooden floors have seen countless celebrations, from product launches that spill from presentation to party, to birthday bashes that make full use of our dedicated DJ booth and dancefloor. The magic really happens when you open up to our garden area. Fire pits crackle as conversations flow across the covered seating areas, creating that perfect indoor-outdoor dynamic where guests naturally circulate between the bar's energy and the garden's more relaxed vibe. We can accommodate 200 people inside, with space for another 100 in the garden, though groups of 70 for seated dinners find the atmosphere particularly special. Borough and Elephant & Castle stations both sit under ten minutes away on foot, so your guests won't struggle to find us or grab that last train home. Our weekend-only availability for private hire means you get the space when it matters most, transformed from its weekday role into your own private venue.
