Taking over The Whole House means you get our entire Georgian townhouse to yourself, from the cocktail lounge where locals come for our famous Earl Grey Martinis right up to all 13 bedrooms. We've kept that slightly eccentric feel throughout, with taxidermy watching over conversations, vintage curiosities tucked into corners, and those wonderfully dramatic wallpapers that make every photo look like a film still. The main dining area seats 40 around our long wooden tables, perfect for those dinners where everyone needs to hear the speeches or when you want that long-table feast atmosphere. Push the furniture back, and we can fit 100 guests for drinks and dancing. Each room has its own personality: the Games Room surprises people with its mix of playful touches and proper presentation kit, while the cocktail lounge feels like stepping into someone's rather grand living room. Our kitchen team creates everything from elegant canapés to proper three-course dinners, handling all the dietary requirements without fuss. The bar stays open until 1am, and since you have exclusive use from 3pm on arrival day until 11am the next morning, your guests can properly settle in. Some have used the bedrooms for VIP guests, others just love knowing they have the whole place to themselves. Five minutes from Farringdon Station means nobody's getting lost, and St John's Square gives you that proper London setting without the tourist crowds. We hold a wedding licence too, so ceremonies can happen right here amongst the books and curiosities. The house works brilliantly for celebrations that need character: milestone birthdays where hotel function rooms won't do, wedding receptions for couples who collect vintage oddities themselves, or company parties when you want colleagues to actually remember where the Christmas do was held.
