Walking through the restored Corn Exchange building, the Concourse greets you with 650 square metres of adaptable event space. We've maintained the original exposed brick walls from the building's agricultural trading days, while adding contemporary touches that make this room work for modern celebrations and corporate gatherings alike. During daylight hours, floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with natural light, illuminating the industrial-style ceiling and creating an energetic atmosphere for conferences or exhibitions. Come evening, our LED lighting system transforms the room completely - we can wash the walls in your company colours for a product launch or create intimate pools of light for a cocktail reception. The long bar stretching along one wall becomes a natural focal point where guests gravitate during networking breaks or drinks receptions. Our built-in plasma screens and large projector screens mean presentations run smoothly without external equipment cluttering the space. The PA system handles everything from background music during dinner to live bands for evening entertainment. We regularly configure the Concourse for 650 standing guests at festivals and launch parties, or arrange it more intimately with round tables for 100 at charity dinners and award ceremonies. The high ceilings give even packed events room to breathe, while the separate entrance means your guests won't cross paths with other events happening elsewhere in the building. Located at 11 New Market Road, we're a short walk from Slateford station, and your guests can use our complimentary parking. Whether you're planning a corporate conference with breakout sessions, a wedding reception that flows into our downstairs bowling centre, or an exhibition that needs maximum floor space, the Concourse adapts to match your vision while keeping those original architectural features that make the space memorable.
