The Blue Room reveals itself on the lower ground floor, where deep sapphire walls create an intimate atmosphere that changes with the day. Morning light streams through the large windows, catching the edges of eclectic artwork collected from local Bristol artists, while evenings transform the space into something altogether more atmospheric. We've arranged this versatile room to accommodate up to 80 guests for receptions, with flexibility built into every corner. The long central table works beautifully for formal dinners where conversation flows as freely as the wine, or we can clear the space for cocktail parties where guests mingle between the bar and the original fireplace that anchors one wall. That bar, tucked into its own corner, keeps drinks flowing without interrupting the party's rhythm. Our bartenders know their craft, mixing cocktails that complement the seasonal menus from our kitchen upstairs. The projector mounted discreetly overhead comes in handy for everything from wedding slideshows to DJ visuals, though most nights the room's natural ambiance provides all the entertainment needed. The industrial bones of our converted factory building show through here, with exposed elements that remind guests they're somewhere with genuine Bristol character. Yet we've softened these harder edges with carefully chosen furnishings and that warming fireplace, creating a space that feels both urban and welcoming. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with St. Pauls' excellent transport links bringing guests from across the city. Once they descend those stairs and step into the blue-washed atmosphere, the outside world fades away.
