Right at our main entrance, the Garden Arch greets every visitor with its unexpected mix of artificial grass underfoot and living walls climbing the Victorian brickwork. We've turned this semi-private space into something that feels part indoor garden, part urban hideaway, where 30 of your friends can settle in for dinner or 50 can mingle with drinks in hand. The Chesterfield sofas anchor one corner, creating natural conversation spots that flow into our main bar area. We've mixed these with benches and tables that work equally well for birthday toasts or engagement party speeches. Hanging planters dangle between framed artwork, while daylight pours through the glass entrance, catching the greenery in ways that change throughout the afternoon. Our kitchen sends out sharing platters that travel easily from hand to hand, jerk-spiced chicken pieces that disappear fast, and bar snacks that keep the energy up when the DJ takes over. The space naturally pulls people together, whether they're raising glasses for a 30th birthday or catching up at a reunion that turns into an impromptu dance floor. Between Southwark and Blackfriars stations, we're easy to find but tucked away enough to feel like a discovery. The artificial grass might sound unusual until you see how it softens the acoustics and adds that garden party feel, even in January. When beer pong tables come out or the DJ drops the first track, the Garden Arch transforms from quirky entrance to party central. SAMA offers a lovely cosy room on the ground floor. The setting is quirky and unusual. The service was super professional and efficient. All in all, we are super happy.
