The Rutland Room carries the intimate grandeur of a duchess's private chambers, with its John Rysbrack marble fireplace from 1736 commanding attention as you enter. We've preserved every detail from when this served as the Duchess of Rutland's dressing room, from the rich red and gold colour scheme to the ornate mirror that once reflected preparations for grand society events. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame Green Park magnificently, transforming with each season while bathing your dining experience in natural light. Our chandeliers cast a warm glow come evening, working with the classic wall sconces to create that perfect ambience for dinner conversations. The room comfortably hosts 24 for banquet dining, though we can arrange theatre-style seating for 35 if you're planning presentations between courses. The connection to our Bennet-Clark Room gives you options, whether you want guests to flow between spaces for drinks and dining or prefer complete privacy for boardroom discussions over lunch. Our kitchen team works closely with hosts to craft menus that suit every dietary requirement, from kosher and halal to vegan and gluten-free preparations. With our alcohol licence running until 1 AM, there's no rush to wrap up those after-dinner digestifs.
