Bar 1 offers a semi-private corner of our bustling Cardiff pub that works brilliantly for groups wanting their own space without missing the atmosphere. With room for 30 standing or 24 seated, this ground floor area sits slightly elevated from the main bar, giving your party a dedicated spot while keeping you connected to the energy of St Mary Street below. We've furnished this space with plush green seating that runs along the walls, paired with warm wooden floors that catch the natural light streaming through our large windows. The décor mixes rich colours with comfortable furnishings, creating a relaxed setting that feels more like a private members' club than a cordoned-off pub corner. A flatscreen TV mounted on the wall means you can still catch the match if needed, while high-speed Wi-Fi and air conditioning keep everyone comfortable throughout your event. The semi-private layout makes Bar 1 particularly popular for birthday parties, leaving dos, and informal business gatherings where you want conversation to flow easily.
