When your group arrives at The Botanist Cardiff Bay, the Rockpools Dining Area welcomes you into our most sought-after corner, tucked away upstairs where conversations flow as freely as our botanical cocktails. We've arranged this semi-private space with a mix of striped upholstered chairs and wooden benches that somehow make formal dinners feel relaxed and casual gatherings feel special. Rope-hung pendant lights cast a warm glow over your table, while plants tumble from copper containers overhead and botanical prints line the walls, creating that greenhouse-meets-gastropub atmosphere we're known for. The white and green paneled walls give the space its own identity, separate enough from the main restaurant buzz that your group of up to 30 can hear each other without shouting, yet close enough to feel the energy of the venue. Your dedicated server knows our menu inside out, from those famous Hanging Kebabs™ to our seasonal sharing platters, and they'll keep drinks flowing throughout your event. We regularly host birthday dinners here, where the birthday person inevitably ends up wearing our botanical crown (don't ask, it's tradition now).
