The Upstairs Area at Browns Birmingham transforms your celebration into something memorable, with space for up to 80 seated guests across our mezzanine level. Flooded with natural light from the wraparound windows, this semi-private space gives you the best of both worlds: your own dedicated area while still catching the buzz from the brasserie below. We've furnished the space with deep tufted banquettes that run along the walls, paired with classic wooden chairs around tables that we can arrange to suit your party perfectly. The warm parquet flooring and vintage-style lighting create an atmosphere that works just as well for afternoon birthday gatherings as it does for evening celebrations. Your guests will appreciate having their own bar area up here, meaning no queuing downstairs when the champagne needs topping up. The real draw for many of our parties is the private terrace attached to the mezzanine. It's become the spot where guests naturally gravitate during summer birthdays or corporate celebrations, cocktail in hand, taking in views across St Martin's Square. We can accommodate up to 90 guests when you're planning a standing reception, giving everyone room to mingle comfortably. Being just minutes from Birmingham New Street station means your guests won't struggle to find us, and there's something satisfying about having your own floor while still being part of the Browns Birmingham experience. We handle everything from milestone birthdays to engagement parties, Christmas celebrations to reunion dinners.
