The Temple Room's celestial blue dome draws your eyes upward the moment you step inside, where golden zodiac symbols trace ancient patterns across the curved ceiling. We've preserved every detail of this 1912 Greek Masonic Temple, from the regal thrones that line the walls to the dramatic black and white checkered floor that grounds the space in geometric precision. Dark wood paneling wraps around the room, creating an intimate atmosphere that works brilliantly for corporate dinners and celebration meals alike. We can seat 45 guests for a formal banquet, with candlelit chandeliers casting warm light across the tables, or configure the space boardroom-style for 22 when you need focused discussion over dinner. For standing receptions with canapés and drinks, the Temple Room comfortably holds 60 guests who inevitably spend the evening admiring the architectural details between conversations. The Grade II-listed status means we've carefully integrated modern necessities, WiFi and air conditioning run discreetly through the space without disturbing the historical atmosphere. Our kitchen team crafts menus specifically for Temple Room events, accommodating everything from multi-course tasting menus to working lunches, with halal, kosher, and gluten-free options always available. Being directly above Liverpool Street Station makes arrival straightforward for your guests, whether they're coming from the City or further afield.
