Step through the archway and discover our Court Yard , where red brick walls frame an unexpected sanctuary in the heart of the City. The salamander fountain at its centre has been quietly bubbling away for years, watched over by hanging baskets that cascade from the surrounding walls. We've hosted countless celebrations in this 40-person space, from summer barbecues where the smell of grilling fills the air to evening drinks receptions lit by strings of lights. The courtyard works particularly well for wedding drinks, guests spilling out from inside, champagne in hand, gathering around the fountain for photographs. Corporate teams love it too, especially for those informal networking sessions where people actually want to talk to each other. The natural acoustics here are gentle, conversations flow easily without that echo you get in some outdoor spaces. When the sun hits the brick walls in late afternoon, the whole courtyard glows amber. Even on cooler days, the sheltered design keeps things comfortable, and we can always set up heaters if needed. Our kitchen team can bring food and drinks directly outside, whether that's canapés circulating on trays or a proper barbecue setup. The bar extends its full service here too, licence running until 11pm. We've got power points discretely placed for any lighting or music you might want, and yes, the Wi-Fi reaches every corner. The space is completely level, wheelchair accessible throughout. You'll find us tucked between office blocks near Barbican station, with Moorgate and St Paul's also within easy walking distance. The Tudor-style building might be easy to miss from the street, but once you're here, this courtyard becomes your own private City garden.
