We've hosted everything from intimate wedding dinners to major corporate conferences in this remarkable space, and the architectural drama never fails to make an impression on guests. The galleries that wrap around two levels give Princess Hall its distinctive character. Your guests can mingle across the upper balconies during reception drinks, while the main floor below accommodates formal dining for 220 or standing receptions for 300. When we configure the space theatre-style, those same galleries help us seat up to 800 delegates, creating an amphitheatre effect that works brilliantly for presentations and performances. Natural light pours through tall windows during daytime events, catching the warm honey tones of the original woodwork. By evening, the hall takes on a different personality entirely, with our lighting system highlighting the architectural details that make this one of Cheltenham's most photographed venues. The stage, framed by its historic mural and rich green curtains, becomes a natural focal point whether you're planning speeches, live entertainment, or theatrical performances. Our technical team has equipped Princess Hall with contemporary audio-visual systems that integrate seamlessly with the Victorian architecture. The venue holds particular significance as one of Cheltenham's first buildings with electric lighting, installed when the hall was built in 1897-8.
