Dark wood panelling catches the afternoon sun as it streams through windows on three sides of our Hop Room, creating a warm glow across the original Victorian floorboards. This more intimate space within the Templeton Building works beautifully for groups of up to 60 seated guests, or 90 for standing receptions. We've kept the historic character intact while adding everything modern parties need. Your own private bar sits in the corner, staffed by our team who know every beer we brew just beyond these walls. The cloakroom means coats and bags stay organised, leaving more room for mingling. When speeches or presentations come up, our projector screen drops down and the PA system is ready to go. The flexibility here suits different party styles perfectly. We can arrange round tables for birthday dinners where everyone feels included in conversation, or clear the floor for cocktail-style events where guests move between the bar and food stations. The lighting adjusts from bright and energetic to soft and atmospheric as your evening progresses. Being right next to our main bar means easy access to the full range of lagers and wheat beers we brew according to the German Purity Law. Our kitchen designs menus specifically to complement these beers, using Scottish ingredients that pair naturally with the malty, hoppy flavours. Whether you're planning a milestone birthday, product launch or company celebration, we handle all catering in-house. The windows overlook Glasgow Green, giving your guests something interesting to look at between conversations. Free parking takes the stress out of arrival, and we're happy to welcome well-behaved dogs too. Our events team regularly works with groups celebrating everything from retirements to engagement parties, helping create the right atmosphere for each occasion.
