The Court Room welcomes you with the soft glow of medieval stained glass, fragments salvaged from our Company's original 1457 Hall now casting coloured light across polished wood panels. We've hosted everything from champagne receptions to charity auctions in this ground-floor space, where up to 75 guests can mingle comfortably beneath the ornate plasterwork ceiling inspired by Crewe Hall. Those planning seated celebrations will find the room accommodates 61 in theatre style, while more intimate gatherings work beautifully with 28 around tables. The high-backed leather settees have witnessed countless toasts and speeches, positioned perfectly to catch the natural light that floods through those remarkable windows. Red carpeting adds warmth to formal dinners, while the wood panelling creates an atmosphere that transforms corporate presentations into something rather special. Our kitchen team handles everything from canapés to three-course dinners, with halal, vegan and gluten-free options always available. The bar stays open until 11pm, fully licensed for whatever your celebration requires. We've installed proper AV equipment, plasma screens that tuck discretely into the traditional architecture, lecterns for speakers, and reliable Wi-Fi throughout. Air conditioning keeps summer events comfortable without disturbing the room's character. Getting here couldn't be simpler, with Barbican, Moorgate and St Paul's stations all within easy walking distance. The entire ground floor, including the Court Room, is wheelchair accessible.
