The Vesta Tilley Dining Room sits upstairs in our Spitalfields restaurant, where exposed brick walls meet warm leather banquettes in a space that feels both historic and comfortable. We've kept the original features of the building, from the weathered brickwork to the parquet floors that creak slightly underfoot, while adding the modern touches that make private dining work properly. The room holds between 35 and 55 guests, depending on how you want things arranged. Most groups opt for our long communal tables that run the length of the space, though we can split these into rounds or smaller sections for corporate lunches. The wrap-around leather seating along the walls means everyone gets a proper seat, not those awkward corner spots you find in some private rooms. A large framed map dominates one wall, an original piece we discovered when renovating the building. Everything on the menu comes from the same suppliers we use downstairs in the main restaurant. That means 35-day aged beef from Tim Wilson in North Yorkshire, oysters from Lindisfarne when they're in season, and vegetables from farms we visit ourselves. The kitchen sends food up hot, timed so your mains arrive when you're ready, not when the kitchen dictates. Our wine list runs from accessible bottles to serious burgundies, though many groups start with cocktails mixed by the bar team that's won those industry awards. The flatscreen and PA system handle presentations without fuss, while air conditioning keeps things comfortable even when the room's full and the charcoal grills are firing downstairs. We're two minutes from Shoreditch High Street station, tucked between Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane. The alcohol licence runs until 11:30pm, and yes, you can bring your own music if our playlist doesn't suit your celebration.
