BASE Bar sits beneath our main building, a proper hideaway with exposed brick walls and warm wooden floors that immediately set the mood for something different. We've watched countless birthday parties unfold here, with groups of up to 100 guests taking over the space completely, making it their own for the night. The Jack Daniel's bottle lights hanging above our private bar always get people talking when they first come down the stairs. We keep the bar fully stocked with everything from local craft beers to premium spirits, and our bartenders know how to keep drinks flowing smoothly throughout your celebration. Those cosy booths along the walls fill up fast, while the bench seating gives larger groups room to spread out and catch up properly. Our compact stage has seen it all, from impromptu karaoke sessions that go on until closing to DJs who transform the space into a proper dance floor. The PA speakers handle whatever you throw at them, and since you can bring your own music or DJ, the atmosphere becomes exactly what you want it to be. That new photo booth we installed has been brilliant for birthday parties, with guests queueing up all night to capture moments with ridiculous props. We've kept all the practical bits too, projector, flatscreen TV, whiteboard and flipchart for those pre-party presentations, plus reliable Wi-Fi throughout. The basement location gives you complete privacy from the rest of our building, so your party feels like its own world. Getting here couldn't be easier with parking just around the corner and full wheelchair access including accessible toilets. Our West End location means your guests can easily pop in from across Glasgow, with plenty of transport links nearby. BASE Bar works brilliantly for milestone birthdays, engagement drinks, or any celebration where you want somewhere with proper character rather than just another function room.
