À propos de Inside downstairs
40 Banquet
50 Réception
Afternoon light streams through the floor-to-ceiling windows of Inside Downstairs, where up to 40 of your guests can gather around our sleek tiled tables for a seated celebration, or 50 can mingle with drinks in hand. The Thames flows just beyond the glass, creating an ever-changing backdrop that never fails to captivate our party guests. We've arranged the space to feel both intimate and open, with dark wooden chairs circling tables topped with simple white settings that let the riverside views take centre stage. Potted plants dot the room, bringing touches of green that echo the natural materials we've used throughout our restored building. The mirrored wall doubles the sense of space, reflecting both the warm overhead lighting and the energy of your celebration. The ground floor location means your guests flow easily between Inside Downstairs and our heated riverside terrace when the mood takes them. We've hosted countless birthday parties here where groups start with grapefruit spritzes by the windows before settling in for our signature buttermilk fried chicken or those Vegan Viking Burgers that have converted more than a few meat-eaters. For larger celebrations, we can arrange our 90-minute bottomless brunch format, keeping glasses topped up while plates of food keep coming. The wooden floors have seen everything from 50th birthday dinners to hen party celebrations, corporate gatherings to engagement toasts. Gabriel's Wharf buzzes with life just outside, but inside this room feels like your own riverside sanctuary. Your guests will find us easily, just a short walk from both Blackfriars and Waterloo stations, with paid parking nearby for those driving. We handle all the setup and service, leaving you free to enjoy the Thames views and focus on what matters most: celebrating with the people you've brought together in this light-filled riverside space.
