The Cellar Room at Benares Restaurant & Bar transforms wine storage into an extraordinary private dining experience. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling black wooden racks displaying 600 carefully selected bottles from our sommelier's collection, this intimate space creates an atmosphere where wine lovers and food enthusiasts alike feel immediately at home. We've designed this room for those special moments that call for something beyond the ordinary. Up to 10 guests can gather around tables dressed in crisp white linen, seated in high-backed taupe chairs that encourage long, comfortable conversations. The black and gold glass show plates at each setting hint at the culinary journey ahead, where Chef Atul Kochhar's Michelin-starred creations bring together seasonal British ingredients with authentic Indian techniques. What makes the Cellar Room particularly special is how it balances privacy with connection.
