We've transformed this basement space beneath our Georgian townhouses into Edinburgh's most versatile party venue, perfect for celebrations that need character alongside convenience. The brick archways and industrial touches give The Cellar real personality, while our flexible layout works brilliantly for different party styles. We can arrange seating for 60 guests at round tables for birthday dinners, create a cocktail party setup for 100 mingling guests, or configure theatre-style rows for 80 when you need presentations before the party starts. Corporate celebrations often use our boardroom layout for 24, combining strategy sessions with evening entertainment. Our concealed pool table becomes a focal point when revealed, drawing guests into friendly competition between cocktails. The integrated bar keeps drinks flowing without anyone missing the action, and our dedicated bathrooms mean your guests stay comfortable throughout the evening. We've installed proper AV equipment including our PA system and flatscreen TV for speeches, presentations, or party playlists, while air conditioning keeps the atmosphere comfortable even when the dance floor fills up. BABA, our Mediterranean restaurant upstairs, creates custom menus for Cellar events, from canapés and sharing platters to three-course dinners. Our events team handles the logistics while you focus on your guests, coordinating everything from furniture arrangements to lighting adjustments that transform the mood as your party evolves. The New Town location puts you minutes from Princes Street, with excellent transport links for guests arriving from across Edinburgh. Yet once they descend those stairs, the outside world fades away.
