Downstairs at Las Iguanas Newcastle, our Private Hire Space brings together everything that makes a party memorable. The warm red banquette seating wraps around wooden tables, creating natural conversation zones where your guests can settle in with their cocktails and catch up properly. We've kept the Latin American spirit alive down here with rich wooden paneling and exposed brickwork that gives the room its own character, separate from the buzz upstairs. The space works brilliantly for different party styles. We can accommodate 60 guests for drinks and mingling, or set up for 30 seated if you're planning a proper sit-down celebration. The flexibility means birthday parties flow just as smoothly as engagement drinks or leaving dos. Our large projector screen comes in handy when someone wants to share photos or videos during speeches, adding that personal touch to your event. The soft lighting creates just the right mood as evening approaches, while the layout lets groups naturally form and reform throughout your party. Being downstairs gives you privacy without feeling cut off from the Las Iguanas atmosphere.
