The Connaught Garden Terrace wraps around our Victorian pub with room for 200 of your nearest and dearest, complete with those massive heated umbrellas that keep everyone toasty even when British weather does its thing. Picture your guests spreading out across sturdy wooden picnic tables under mature trees, with string lights twinkling overhead as evening rolls in. We've hosted everything from raucous 50th birthdays to corporate summer BBQs out here, and honestly, when the sun hits those red bricks of our 1881 building, there's nowhere quite like it in the Docks. The beauty of this space is how it works with whatever party you're throwing. Want a standing drinks reception? We can fit 200 people comfortably. Prefer proper sit-down dining? We'll set up for 100 with room to breathe. Thinking cabaret-style with cocktail tables? Same numbers work perfectly. The layout flows naturally from our main bar, so your guests can drift between inside and out as they please. Our kitchen handles party menus without missing a beat, whether you're after sharing platters, BBQ classics, or a full three-course spread. The bar stays well-stocked with craft beers, wines, and whatever else keeps your crowd happy. Need the space cordoned off for a more intimate feel? Done. Want to party past sunset?
