Below street level at Waxy O'Connor's Glasgow, you'll find McTurk's Bar through a set of worn stone steps that transport you into what feels like a secret corner of old Ireland. The first thing that catches your eye is the intricate woodwork, hand-carved panels that line the walls from floor to ceiling, each telling its own story through Celtic knots and traditional motifs. We've arranged the space with long wooden tables and leather chairs that work brilliantly for birthday dinners or corporate celebrations alike. The private bar runs along one wall, its brass fittings gleaming under the warm lighting, where our bartenders keep drinks flowing for groups of up to 100 standing guests. For seated events, we comfortably accommodate 50 people, with plenty of room for mingling between courses. The adjoining Dargle Room opens up when you need extra space, its mock shopfronts adding character that always gets people talking.
