Pop-up bars, street food vendors and 350 of your favourite people, that's what fills our Full Venue when you take over The Dockyard Social. This converted warehouse in Glasgow's Finnieston brings together everything we love about the city's food scene under one industrial roof, complete with those original shipyard beams and walls covered in hand-painted murals. We've kept the bones of the old building exposed, which means your event gets all that warehouse character with proper high ceilings and space to breathe. Our rotating cast of up to ten food traders sets up shop in eight different pods around the venue, so your guests can wander between Thai curries, Southern BBQ, wood-fired pizzas and whatever else our vendors are cooking that week. The award-winning ice cream stand usually has a queue, fair warning. The vintage neon signs throw coloured light across the space while our PA system and projector handle whatever AV requirements you bring. We arrange long communal tables and benches to get people mixing, though the layout shifts depending on whether you need 275 seated for dinner or the full 350-person standing capacity. Those massive shutters at the front make load-in straightforward for bands, DJ equipment or any production kit you're bringing. Our bars dot the space serving craft beers from Glasgow breweries, natural wines we've handpicked, and cocktails that change when we get bored of making the same ones. The whole setup creates these natural zones where people drift between food, drinks and dancing without that awkward venue shuffle. Level access throughout works for wheelchairs, and yes, kids and dogs are welcome too. The Finnieston location puts you walking distance from transport links while our Dockyard Social School means your booking helps train local people in hospitality. Corporate parties, wedding receptions, birthday blowouts, we've hosted them all in this space where industrial Glasgow meets proper street food culture.
