The private Lounge Bar sits upstairs at Totos by the River, where Bristol locals have been throwing parties for nearly two decades. You'll have the entire upper floor to yourselves, with room for 120 guests to mingle across the wooden floors or spill out onto our 60-person private terrace overlooking the water. We've watched countless celebrations unfold in this space, from raucous 30th birthdays that had the dance floor packed until closing to elegant engagement parties where guests sipped cocktails against the backdrop of sunset river views. The fully stocked bar stretches along one wall, lit with soft colours that set the mood while our bartenders mix everything from local craft ales to themed cocktails for your event. Through the large windows, natural light brightens afternoon baby showers and corporate gatherings, while evenings bring a different energy as the terrace fairy lights switch on. The exposed brick walls and urban feel create a backdrop that works whether you're hanging balloons for a surprise party or setting up presentation screens for a product launch. Our in-house DJs read the room perfectly, keeping background beats flowing during networking events or cranking up the energy when it's time to hit the dance floor. The kitchen downstairs sends up our famous BBQ wings and loaded nachos throughout the night, though we regularly arrange custom menus for clients wanting something different. The flexibility here means we've hosted everything from quiz nights with teams spread across the room to wedding receptions where the terrace became an outdoor cocktail lounge. We provide the PA system, Wi-Fi, and all the practical bits, while you bring the vision for decorations and setup.
