The exposed brick walls and vintage maps catch your eye as you enter our Group Dining room, where up to 14 guests can gather around dark wood tables for what many call the best steak experience in East London. This semi-private space sits within our original Spitalfields restaurant, just two minutes' walk from Shoreditch High Street station, making it remarkably easy for your guests to find us between the market crowds and Brick Lane's curry houses. We've designed this room for those smaller celebrations and business gatherings where you want proper food without the fuss. The leather banquettes wrap around tables that work equally well for 12 people discussing quarterly figures or 14 friends toasting a birthday. Soft lighting from our vintage fixtures creates just the right atmosphere, whether you're here for lunch or staying until our 11:30pm licence allows. Our 35-day dry-aged beef comes from grass-fed native breeds we source directly from farmers we know by name. The sustainable seafood arrives fresh from British coastal waters, and everything on your menu reflects the same careful sourcing that earned our Sunday roast the title of UK's Best, twice. Your dedicated server knows every cut, every supplier, every story behind the food. For corporate bookings, we arrange the room boardroom-style for 12, with plenty of space for presentations between courses. Social gatherings tend to prefer our banquet setup, where 14 can share dishes family-style if they choose. Either way, you're getting the full Hawksmoor menu, from our charcoal-grilled steaks to the cocktails our award-winning bar team creates using seasonal British ingredients and forgotten local spirits. This room works particularly well for those occasions when you want something more considered than a noisy restaurant table but less formal than a private dining room, all while enjoying the energy of our bustling Spitalfields home.
