The Gallery Room Rich wood paneling wraps around this first-floor retreat, where vintage portraits gaze down from walls covered in classic wallpaper. We've created an intimate space here that works brilliantly for birthday celebrations, casual dinners, or those informal meetings where conversation flows as freely as the drinks from our service bar. Golden curtains frame the large windows, drawing in streams of natural light that play across the ornate mirrors dotting the walls. The room comfortably seats 28 guests around tables, or we can arrange it for 30 standing if you prefer more mingling space. Our 65" TV sits ready for presentations or photo slideshows, while the service bar keeps your favourite draught beers and wines within easy reach. The historical character of the room, with its carefully preserved Victorian details, creates an atmosphere that feels both grand and welcoming. We find the combination of dark wood and warm lighting particularly suits evening gatherings, though daytime events benefit from all that natural light flooding through those tall windows. Our kitchen team brings the same care to Gallery Room events as they do to our main dining spaces. Whether you're planning a birthday dinner featuring our signature handmade pies or prefer a selection of seasonal dishes, we accommodate various dietary requirements including halal options. The alcohol licence runs until 11:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to celebrate. Getting here couldn't be simpler - Bank Station sits just three minutes' walk away, with Monument Station equally close.
