Those ten-foot stained-glass windows transform throughout the day here, casting coloured light across the checkered black-and-white tiles behind our wooden bar counter. We've kept the Victorian pitch pine cladding that runs along the walls, paired with exposed brick that tells the story of this building's past, when the famous Hammersmith Palais wrapped around three of our sides. Our bar team pours from 20 craft beer taps lined up beneath shelves stocked with spirits and bottles, creating quite the backdrop for photos. The space fits 40 guests standing comfortably, or we can arrange seating for 28 using our ochre-yellow upholstered benches with their distinctive fluted backs, mixed with various hard chairs. Black-and-white photographs dot the walls between the windows, each one capturing a moment from the neighbourhood's history. The polished wooden floors warm up the room, while natural light floods through those original windows during afternoon parties. Come evening, the atmosphere shifts as groups gather around the bar or settle into the bench seating for birthday celebrations, leaving dos, or team nights out. Our PA system handles playlists or speeches easily, and the flatscreen TV works well for presentations or sporting events during corporate gatherings. Food and drink flow directly from our main bar and kitchen. Party organisers often go for our drinks bundles paired with sharing platters of buffalo wings, monster burgers, and vegetarian options. The bar's position on Shepherd's Bush Road means your guests step straight off from Hammersmith station, making those after-work celebrations particularly convenient. Ground floor access with wheelchair-friendly facilities keeps the space open to everyone, while free WiFi ensures guests stay connected between rounds. The blend of traditional pub character and practical party amenities creates a relaxed setting where celebrations unfold naturally around the bar.
