The Recording Studio at Dalston Rehearsal Studio pulses with the kind of energy that only comes from decades of music-making. Step into this space and you'll immediately notice the rich red patterned carpet underfoot, a backdrop that's witnessed countless takes and creative breakthroughs since we first opened our doors in the early 2000s. We've arranged our studio to accommodate up to six people in a U-shaped configuration, creating an intimate recording environment where everyone can maintain eye contact and musical connection. The classic Ludwig drum kit anchors one corner, while our collection of Marshall and Fender amplifiers line the walls, each one selected for its distinct tonal character. Our Fender Rhodes piano has become something of a studio favourite, its warm, bell-like tones finding their way onto everything from neo-soul tracks to experimental electronica. The real magic happens at our AMEK Angela 36-channel mixing console, a serious piece of kit that gives you the kind of control professional recordings demand. We run both Avid Pro Tools 12 and Logic Pro X, so whether you prefer working in the box or want to blend analog warmth with digital precision, we've got you covered. Our carefully curated microphone collection and outboard effects mean you can capture everything from whisper-quiet vocals to full-throttle rock performances. Between takes, sink into our leather armchair while your bandmates tweak their parts. The soft glow from our vintage lamps creates a focused yet relaxed atmosphere, helping artists settle into their creative flow. We've lined the walls with professional acoustic panels that tame unwanted reflections while preserving the room's natural character. Just minutes from both Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction stations, getting here with your gear is straightforward. Our secure storage means you can leave instruments between sessions if you're working on a longer project.
