Viking shields and Norse warrior murals watch over your party as glasses clink and beer pong balls bounce across wooden tables. Our Back Area brings together everything that makes Nordic Bar special in one semi-private space, where 60 of your friends can gather standing or 30 can settle into our booth seating surrounded by deep green walls and Nordic flag cushions. We've designed this room for groups who want their own corner of our Scandinavian drinking hall. The commanding Norse warrior mural sets the tone, while retro arcade machines hum in the corner, ready for tournaments that get surprisingly competitive after a few rounds of aquavit. Those plush booths work perfectly for birthday dinners before the space transforms into party mode, with ping pong paddles appearing and beer pong cups lining up on our sturdy wooden tables. The large screens mean nobody misses the match, whether you're deep in conversation or mid-game at the arcade. We keep the lighting warm and atmospheric, creating that cozy Scandinavian feel while still bright enough for photos against our Viking-themed artwork. The wooden floors have seen countless celebrations, from 30th birthdays that started with Swedish meatballs and ended with shots from our famous wheel, to office parties where colleagues discovered hidden ping pong talents. Being just minutes from Goodge Street Station, with Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road nearby, groups find us easily for after-work gatherings that stretch into the night. Product launches work brilliantly here, with enough space for presentations before the entertainment begins. The Back Area gives you all the Nordic Bar experience, from our bartenders' knowledge of Scandinavian spirits to those generous Smorgasbord platters, in your own dedicated space where the party stays yours until we close at 2:00 AM.
