The Restaurant at Ockenden Manor opens directly onto its sun terrace, where your guests can take in sweeping views of the South Downs National Park. Natural light pours through the large windows throughout the day, illuminating the sophisticated modern European interiors. When planning your event, you can choose from several configurations: theatre-style for up to 120 guests, standing receptions for 150, or U-shaped seating for 24. Each layout transforms the space differently, though the connection to those rolling hills remains constant. Our Head Chef Stephen Crane works closely with local Sussex suppliers to create menus that match your celebration. Whether you're hosting a wedding breakfast, anniversary dinner, or corporate celebration, the kitchen adapts to your vision. The adjoining sun room provides a natural flow for drinks receptions, while the terrace becomes particularly magical during summer parties. The room's versatility shows in how we've hosted events here. Corporate groups appreciate the boardroom setup for strategy days, while wedding parties love how the space opens up for dancing later in the evening. Located in Cuckfield, West Sussex, we're surprisingly accessible from London, with ample parking on-site for your guests. Full-day bookings run from 8am to 6pm, while half-day options split into morning (8am-1pm) or afternoon (1pm-6pm) slots.
